It is Lenda's birthday! Happy Birthday Lenda! Well I hope this day goes by fast and that I can go to sleep early today. I can't wait for the weekend I'm going to go to the movies with my boyfriend. We're going to go see "The Last Air Bender" on 3D he really wanted to see it, since I use to watch the cartoons I know what the movies about I just hope that it's good. Hopefully tomorrow will go by fast as well so that Friday can come around much faster. I think Lenda and I are going to go to Kirkhof in celebration of her birthday. Wow, she finally 17! Now she can go watch rated R movies. I'm so tierd right now I hope that goes away so I can have lots of fun today.

Well let's see what can I say. I woke up with a huge headache and I'm hungry. I'm upset from yesterday, I was talking to my boyfriend and well he upsets me sometimes. It's completely normal, guy's in general upset me a lot. However I woke up thinking today about him (I always think about him) and that I shouldn't be upset with him. I don't like fighting with him or having a problem roaming around especially when he's so far away and I can't even see him. This week is going by so slow for me. I hope the rest of the time that we're at GVSU go by faster. Upward Bound is so tiring, I'm alway's sleepy here and I don't think I've ever gotten my 8 hours of sleep that are recomended. Nevertheless I hope that things get funner and better and I hope that I'll have fun next weekend or this weekend, however you want to say it.

Thinking about Summon

So we were in class today and we learned about summon. The English Librarian came to our first hour to talk to us about summon at the online GVSU library. Summon is a great thing to use when writing future papers because it is a great way to limit down results. It's not like google or bing or yahoo where the popular sites are the one's that are shown first instead it just show's all the results and you can refine your search to find exactly what your looking for. If I could use summon to look up anything I would look up area 51 and the new area that has been made and find out things about it. I've alway's been interested in what the government is hiding. I liked using summon because it's a easier way to look for things and to get fast results and also to find what your looking for. The results from summon are more educational and informative.

Morning Thoughts Wednesday - 06/23/2010

Today is so nasty looking outside. I hate thunderstorms and I wish it wouldn't thunderstorm at all! The sky is so dark and you can see the lighting. Before I walked to the lower commons to eat breakfast we saw a huge flash at lighting that it seemed as if it toughed down somewhere. Gratefully it wasn't anywhere near us because that's just scary. Usually during a thunderstorm I don't even go outside because I hate the sound of thunder I and don't want to see lightening. Hopefully nothing bad will happen here or anywhere else for that matter and hopefully the storm will go by very fast. Oh yeah and hopefully we don't get all soaked up by the rain when we go to our next class.

Morning thought's Tuesday June 22,2010

The storm last night berly let me sleep! I fell asleep eventually but I remember that even when my eyes were close I could see the flashing of the lightning through my window. I absolutely hate thunderstorms they creep me out and half the time I can't fall asleep. When my roommate ,Brenda, told me that someone had texted her at night telling her to be careful that there was a tornado at Alpine I was a bit worried. I started wondering where around Alpine was the tornado? How bad and big was the tornado? Since I live close to Alpine I was afraid that maybe something could had happened to my family, like my sister or brother or my mom. I hope everyone is fine and hopefully no one got hurt.

All new week Mon 06-21-2010

I had an alright weekend. I went to my cousins quince and met a whole lot of family members that I didn't know I had. Apparently I have a cousin that came pregnant from El Salvador that I didn't even know I had! It's cool though, to have met all of them since they came from all over just to come to the quince. I haven't actually been around many salvadorians my whole life, I've mostly been with my family. People tell me that when I speak in spanish I have the acent but I don't think so, or atleast I don't hear it. I would love to go to El Salvador but the things my mom talks about just scare me sometimes. She talks about la mara salvatrucha and all the things that they do. Nobody really knows how bad the things are unless you've lived there. Not many people even know where El Salvador is since it's such a small country.

Thursday's mornings thoughts

I am extremely happy that it is finally Thursday, I can't wait until tomorrow! I still have to figure out who's going to take me back home tomorrow after we get back from MSU. I've gone visit MSU before but tomorrow UB Program is going to take use to see the campus. Hopefully today goes by really fast cause I want to see my boyfriend already. We talk everyday on the phone but it's just not the same as being with him. Hopefully the rest of the weeks go faster so I don't have to miss being home so much. I don't really miss home but the freedom of enjoying summer and doing pretty much anything I want. Anyways apparently the shoes were only hurting because they were new and I wasn't use to them because today I have them on again and they don't hurt where they were hurting me the other day's. They still hurt a little but I can tolerate this pain, they hurt me way to much on Tuesday that I just couldn't handle them anymore. Well hopefully everything gets better and hopefully I will do very good today since we have tests in three classes. Anyways I hope the weekend goes really good!

So I was looking at some blogs and I came across a certain blog that catched my attention. I can't believe that the Tyra Show is really over. I miss the show so much since at UB we can't watch T.V and I use to watch the Tyra Show everyday. The blog just shows some of the most memorable moments on the Tyra Show.

Wednesday's thoughts

Right now it's about 8:15am and I'm so tired! I'm thinking about Friday like usually, about my boyfriend I can't wait to see him. I hope that we don't get that much homework today for class. I think I'm not gonna go to Kirkoff today and instead eat lunch with the rest of the group. How do they expect us to eat lunch the whole summer with only $30? I hope that my cousin's quinceañera is fun. I hope that I can get everything I need to get done this weekend. I need to bring my other shoes since Nike's shoes keep hurting me, is that common? I've only had them for 4 days! They're hurting my poor foot and I can't stand them anymore and besides needing shoes I bought them becuase I needed them for Upward Bound. Anyway's hopefully today goes by fast and it doesn't rain but who know's what'll happen, we just have to wait and see.

Tuesday's morning thoughts

Right now I'm thinking about how tired I am. I'm thinking about my boyfriend that's back home working. I can't wait until Friday when we get to go back home and sleep in our own beds and watch T.V. Still, I have to be patient because it's only Tuesday and we still have classes to attend until Friday. I hope that we don't get as much homework as we usually do and hopefully I'll be on the all A list this year, even though I have senior privileges. I hope that I have a lot of fun this summer and that the 5 1/2 weeks at Upward Bound go by fast. I can't wait to start summer vacation for real! I hope that we get paid more than the senior's got paid last year and that nothing goes wrong this summer. I also hope that I everyone and everything at home is okay and nothing goes wrong over there while I'm away.

Blog or no blog?

I have blogged before but I just wrote anything, I didn't actually know what I was doing. I made a blog about a virtual chat. I was really into a chat call IMVU and to get credits I decided to make a blog but I didn't really know what I was doing. I also made a website and wrote about the immigration problems that are going on but it's been a while since I have gotten back on the website. Other than that, I haven't blogged about anything else.
